Adding internationalization to a plugin

Wrap your strings in i18n functions, add Text Domain: plugin header, upload to SVN and you should be good to go.

Gary is correct, it’s essentially automatic, but there are a few caveats. Your text domain must be the same as your plugin. You must not include any language files with your upload or nothing will happen automatically. The one exception is existing .mo files can be included in the initial upload.
