Adding item to category

  • Question on how or if this can be done.

    I am making a handmade jewelry website and I am using stones, each of the stones have certain meanings. So when I am adding a product that uses that stone, when I click on the stone name as a category- can I have the meanings attached automatically?

    For example:

    Bracelet with a black agate stone.

    Category
    bracelet
    black
    agate –> love, happiness peace

    Is that possible? Or will I have to click each meaning every time I add a product with that stone.

    Since the stones always have the same size, color and meaning- I would like that information added automatically each time.

    Could these brief descriptions not be category descriptions, or even part of the category name?

    But then they could not be searchable right? I want people to be able to search via the stone meanings as well

    You’re right. It will be manual then however you add them. This cannot be automated out of the box.
