    Hi,
    New to WordPress and Woocommerce.

I am trying to add text and html to the main page only.

I would also like to add-

    Google site verification
    Google analytics code
    Adwords Code
    StatCounter Code

On my current website I add them just on the index.php which never gets updated.

I’m using a basic blank child theme for Storefront and didn’t want to mess with anything that will get updated.

Did some reading on Conditional Tags but not sure.

I am switching to Woocommerce and a responsive theme since Google told me I was going to be hit with a bad update if I’m not mobile friendly.
I really like it so far and it seems like a real good fit.

    Thanks for your time.
    Alec

  • Hey,

I am trying to add text and html to the main page only.

Just add the content to your Shop page. That is assuming by ‘main page’ you mean the shop page. It’s hard to tell ??

    Google site verification
    Google analytics code
    Adwords Code
    StatCounter Code

There are plugin for all of these. Have a search on the plugins repository.

    Cheers

    jameskoster,

I’m discovering the beauty of this WordPress and Storefront.
I added the text to the widgets. Footer and sidebar in my case since that’s where I want them. I also discovered the widget-logic plugin.
This is great. Now I can add things like the Google adsense only on the pages I want and not on say the checkout page.

I’m looking into the plugins for some of the others.
    Learning a little everyday.

    Thank you for the help.
