I’m trying to enter manual orders. Here’s my workflow:

Enter customer billing info and copy to shipping.
    Mark paid by ‘other’
Add some custom fields from my paper order form.
    Add items to the order.
Upon adding the items, the order is marked “this order is no longer editable”.

It does not matter if I leave the default status of Pending Payment, or manually change it to On Hold, this happens upon adding any items. Changing the status after adding items, has no effect on being able to edit.

It does not matter if I mark the item as paid by ‘other’ or leave the default ‘N/A’ unchanged.

I can’t add other items, discounts, or recalculate, etc.

My only solution so far, is to hit my back button, open the order again (now in Drafts) and now I can edit the order items. Incidentally, this process zaps the customer billing and shipping info so it has to be re-entered.

Sorry, forgot to add that adding the items does not calculate a total. The order amount is $0.00.

    Hi @adrienm

Typically issues like this are caused by a theme or plugin conflict. As a first step, try switching back to a default theme like Twenty Nineteen and disable all plugins except for WooCommerce to see if this resolves the issue.

    Hi there,

We have not heard from you in a while so I will close this thread. If you continue to have issues please open a new thread!
