Adding links to Autopost Twitter Images

    Hi,

    Great app and support on here, so am hoping you can answer this one for me.

    I have everything setup and my site autoposts to Twitter, which is great. How can I tweak this so that the image posted to Twitter is linked back to my sites page when someone click on the image via Twitter?

    Any help appreciated.

    What you are describing called Twitter cards. Twitter cards have nothing to do with our plugin. Twitter adds them by itself. Plugin can’t control them.

    At the risk of bumping…

    we use these elements :

    %TITLE% – #%CATS%

    %HTAGS%

    %EXCERPT%

    %SURL%

    And yet the plugin is STILL sending two at a time tweets with no summary cards with large images?

    So what users to do?

    Rik0399, as you can see in my previous reply.

    Twitter cards have nothing to do with our plugin.

    So no matter what you put to the “Message format” filed it will NOT affect appearance or the content of the Twitter card.

    Twitter adds/creates Twitter cards by itself using metatags as described here: https://dev.twitter.com/cards/types/summary-large-image.

    Plugin can’t control them.
