adding links to other websites and directories

  • Heya Everyone, having trouble working out how to add links (and where in my site to do it) for my website to directories and other sites
    would love some help .. Thanks

  • Hiya,

    1) You can create another static page and title it as ‘Links’ and place all the links there.

    2) You can go to Admin > Links > Categories, create link categories and then go to Admin > Links > Add New to add new links to specific categories. Then you can place the Link Category as a widget to sidebar.

    Yes I did try to create a static page called Links but when I clicked on one of the links it seemed to only search within my website and so told me ‘what you are looking for isn’t here’,

    how do I get the links to link out to the net? am I saving them into the page wrong?

    I am just cut and pasting each as the directories have them to do….?

    Hmm… That’s weird.

    Please check few links and see to which page they’re linking to. If they are linked correctly, it’s problem with your blog. Otherwise, it’s the links which you’d have to edit manually.

    one further question regarding from above..

    how do you place the link category into a sidebar widget exactly?
