Adding location fields

Would like to add additional fields to the locations, which would then be searchable. I would also want to be able to use those same fields in the Events results. Not seeing info to do so. I see “Adding Custom Event Search Form Fields”, which may or may not come close, but I can’t tell. If it does, it’s not intuitive. It appears to address Search Form Fields, but I can’t tell if the intention is the same as my goal. (If it is, I would think it should be two separate operations and instruction set, not one. One has to remember, all us users, including pro users, don’t have the specific background schema that your in-house devs have. We need the steps that are assumptive to you. Without them, we are lost.)
