Adding Mail List to Page

Finally found what the issue is: “The Join the mailing list” shows up only on every web page that is a full page and none that use my other template. I’m assuming that the full page ones are the only ones that have footers. If a page doesn’t have a footer, how can I get it to show across. The page is more along the lines of a small calendar section to the right of the main page.

Inside your theme/template you can call the footer hook like this:
<?php get_footer(); ?>

thank you so much for your help. One final thing, how to you change the successfully subscribed message because right now successfully is not spelled correctly on what I’m seeing. I’m not sure if I unintentionally changed it somewhere.

Sorry i’ve never noticed that, i’m fixing now with 1.10

Don’t upgrade to 1.10 the plugin or you replace your personal/custom code.

Edit this file:
mail-list/includes/confirm_subscription.php
and search for the “You are succesfully subscribed” string.

Hi Dannycode. I have a problem and I don’t know a lot about computer stuff, but.. I am trying to get my capture pages to work. they keep saying mailing list inactive when I try to opt into my capture pages.
I checked my account it says it is active with no issues, but I don’t know when my next payment is due so I’m thinking maybe I missed a payment and it just still says I’m active? I am really lst as to why t his happened.
Please help me out thanks.
