Adding meta description with yoast SEO

    I haven’t been very active on my blog lately but, trying to add new posts, my Yoast SEO dialog says-
    “No meta description has been specified, search engines will display copy from the page instead.”
    Seems like Yoast used to have meta description available but it doesn’t now.
    Do i just need to code a meta descr. in html in the post or am I missing something?

    I found the answer.
    I can now edit the meta description in the snippet under the title.
