    Hello all,

I am now I believe in the most tedious portion of setting up my ecommerce site. I have a leatherworking business/gun store and I have several options for the holsters I make. I would like to know the general rules/how to, on choosing the right variation/attribute setup if lets say someone wanted a certain type of holster (I already have categories) left or right handed options, style of fastening clip, color and design/tooling/lettering, custom dye selections and fully custom projects. Is it possible to have essentially an add on price for some of the options and none for others? I do not charge extra for the choice of basic color or clip design but I do for other options. I made all the attributes already and saved them but I am having trouble with the variations. Once I have one figured out I can just follow that example for the remainder. As of two days ago I had 0 experience with any of this including setting everything up.

    Thanks

So I have since taken care of all of the above issues since this was posted on my own.

did you have to install a plugin to make this work? Im having trouble setting different prices for different attributes depending on what client chooses on website.

any help would be greatly appreciated!

Johnny, what theme are you using? I used mystile for mine and it is a painstaking process to set up but once you do it once it is not that bad. I watched an old YouTube video on a guy setting up a mock shoe store that really helped me out. But you need to keep in mind it is an old video and many updates have come out but the basic concept is the same. If you have further issues email me.

The theme I am using is called DIV from Elegant themes. I then installed the woocommerce plugin and I want to be able to set a different price per attribute. I have a lot of attributes so the possibilities are endless, which means its impossible to be able to edit thousands of products with different prices depending on attributes. Im going to do some more research online to see if there is any way to go about this. thanks for feedback ??
