Adding music – files to use?

  • I have never worked with music files and my client wants to add music to her page. How would I get the music from her? Can she email me the song in mp3 format? How does this work exactly?
    Feels like such a dumb question but when you don’t know, you don’t know!

  • Try creating a dropbox: https://www.dropbox.com/

    She can upload her music, most likely mp3 to the dropbox and then you can do the rest. I doubt she wants to connect to the server via FTP and have to do the hard work, so do this and then upload her music to the necessary directory on the server.
