    Hello there,

    We have been using your plugin in our website with success for many years now (more than 170 recipes published) ??

    Suddenly, the last few weeks when we try to add a new recipe and we click save nothing happens and the written recipe does not appear in any menu.

    Any idea what could the problem?

    Here are some technical details:

    Wordpress Version 5.8.1
    Zip Recipes Version 7.1.6
    Server Apache/Linux 3.10.0
    PHP version 7.3.31
    cURL version 7.29.0 NSS/3.53.1

    Hi @lejardinpot,

    Thank you for your message, glad to hear that you’ve been using the plugin for many years already!

    Could you open up the browser console in your browser (Control + Shift + J) or Right-click the page > Inspect > Console, and click the Save button once more? I’m curious to see if any errors appear here, perhaps you could upload a screenshot?

    thanks for your response!

    Unfortunately, I don’t see any error in the browser console (Google Chrome 95.0.46).

    Please, find attached 2 screenshots:

    – 1 while writing the recipe and before clicking save

    Hi @lejardinpot,

    Thank you for attaching these screenshots.

    The absence of a console error could indicate that the problem is related to the database instead. What you can try to do is manually increase the version number of the plugin, to trigger an update of the database. You can do this by navigating to Plugins > Plugin Editor > Select “Zip Recipes” > In the file “zip-recipes.php”, raise the version number on line 9 (for example, from 7.1.6 to 7.1.7) and Save the file.

    If this doesn’t do the trick yet, could you reach out to us on support(at)ziprecipes.net? We would gladly investigate further.

    No, the above solution did not help us resolve our issue. We are in (private) contact with the plugin developers to investigate what could be the issue.
