adding number of views to blog post

    I have seen some blogs which display the number of views beside the date posted on and posted by tagline. so it would say this post has been viewed 2000 times or something like that. Does anyone know how this is done?

  • that won’t be in page.php, that’s the template for pages, not posts.

    you’ll have to find out which template file is being loaded when you view all your posts. probably index.php, or if it’s similar to the twentyten and twentyeleven themes, it’ll be in loop.php.

    I am using a child theme of twentyten. I believe I have found what I need with loop.php. Thanks!
