Adding or deleting categories bug

  • I know this bug for maybe a year, and newest patch doesn’t change it.
    When I am on categories page, and I want to add a new category, I enter a name, relate it to some existent category and click ‘Add new category’ but nothing happens. Only if I refresh the page, then I see it worked alright.

    Similar case is when deleting a category, I get an error in red box that something happened, but when I refresh the page, I can see that it deleted the category and everything is ok.

  • Do you get the same problem if you switch to the default theme and turn off plugins? And what happens if you create a new category that doesn’t have a parent category?
