Adding own API to Plugin

  • Hey,

    I’m interested in adding an API to my own plugin like WooCommerce, BuddyPress, bbPress, etc. have so other Plugins or Themes can use this API to interact with my plugin.

    Does anybody know some useful resources like tutorial where I can get started how to build an own API? (Please don’t refer to the source code.)
