adding padding-left to footer-wdiget area not working

To add padding in CSS:

padding-left: 200px;

Obviously change 200px to whatever you want. Without knowing which bits you’re trying to move, we can’t be any more specific.

how do you target first, second, third, and fourth footer sections individually?

i know primary and secondary is #primary and #secondary

would first footer area be #first footer or something like that?
