• How can I upload my own random static php pages that aren’t in WP and view them? It seems that any page I upload that’s not in WordPress just goes to a 404 page. Does it have to be in a special directory.

    I would appreciate some help.

    Thanks
    Dave

  • I’m not sure what you mean by “random” static pages.

But if all you want to do is to have normal, static html or php pages that aren’t managed by WordPress but are part of your site then that’s easy. You just have to create a directory to put them in (making sure that the directory name doesn’t match anything your permalinks may use), upload the pages using any ftp program, and then add the links by hand in some convenient part of your blog.
