Hi, I am trying to add pages to the footer > widget menu. After adding the page id, the page URL is correctly rendered, however, the contents of the page are not displayed. Instead, I get a message ‘No forums were found here’. I am developing a stand-alone Forum. How can I display pages in the footer?
This is the page I am trying to display: https://electroneumforum.com/forum-rules/
The link is in the footer, just below the newsletter signup on the Home page.
    Thanks!

    Hi,

You just need to put all necessary page URLs (in this case “https://electroneumforum.com/forum-rules/”) in “Exclude Page URLs” textarea.

Great. It works. Is there any way to reduce the space between page links? I have added pages like Contact Us, Forum Rules etc in Footer 1 widget, but there is a lot of space between them which I would like to reduce ideally. Thanks again!

Please note, that the adding page URL in the textarea doesn’t have any relation to your theme footer sidebar and widget configuration. It also doesn’t have any relation to style and appearance. When you add page links in textarea it only allows you to open these pages on front-end so you don’t get “Page not found” error. wpForo doesn’t have any relation to the website footer style, you should contact to your WordPress website active theme support.

Also, I don’t recommend you use the “Turn WordPress to wpForo” option if you want to have some pages and posts on website. This option is only recommended if you only use forum on website. If the only reason of enabling this option is setting the forum on home page you should disable it back and read the standard instruction to set forum on home:
    https://wpforo.com/docs/root/getting-started/forum-page/set-forum-on-home-page/
