Adding pages to the main menu

I am having trouble adding new pages to the main page horizontally. Is it possible to add pages horizontally to the top of the page, where the ‘latest’ tab,

Also , as a news aggregator site,, is the pro theme adding any extra functionality? I need to add new stories and rss feeds on a regular basis, including podcasts and videos and am interested on whether the pro theme will help?
