Adding PDF to File Image Uploads

Trello looks interesting.

Any idea how long this would take though, as it may be better that I go off and use something else. It’s such a simple thing and in my view a classic case of bad design. Who would ever have wanted multiple file types for uploading the same thing, in multiple field types?

Well the image upload field displays images onto the profile but the file upload provides a link to the upload URL so the image upload field is useful field for people wanting to show images directly on profile.

But having those image types available for file upload will be useful.

Will need to discuss with lead developer for ETA.

Yes. I get people still saying they tried uploading, but their PDF’s don’t work. Even though I told them, people still try. So I think it’s daft to create another field type for the same purpose. That is also confusing. I would likely then get people saying, “which one shall I use”. As Rabbie Burns the Scottish Poet once said, “there’s nowt as queer as folk”. An update soon would be most helpful please.

Any News?

Still no news. I’ve had to tell so many people not to use PDFs and continually visit an online site to convert them. Continually support this with that advice and folks think I’m way behind the times.
