    Hi,
I am having a hard time trying to figure out how to add the pinterest follow me button widget. I have no option to add a new widget, and I also have no plugin option in my administration screens. I’m using the forever theme. Is there something super obvious I’m missing? I can’t figure out how to add this as a widget. Once I can do that, I know how to put it into my sidebar, but I’m stuck on the first few steps.

    Thank you.

Your web host must be locking down the plugin options if you don’t see a Plugins > Add New option. Or you’re on wordpress.com.

    Assuming this is solved.

No, I just haven’t had time to mess with it. I don’t even have a “plugins” option on my dashboard sidebar. How do I know if I’m non wordpress.com or www.ads-software.com? I feel like that’s a really stupid question (because obviously I can look if it’s .com or .org), but I’m wondering if I started from the wrong place at the very beginning.

If you’re on wordpress.com you won’t be able to upload plugins. Your user account might also be limited by whoever set you up.

I set myself up and what can I do to change my blog to allow for this option. I am on Modularity lite.
