Adding post tags: "undefined" between each character in the tag name

  • I’ve started having a problem adding tags to my posts. When I select an existing tag or create a new tag for a post, the tag name has the word “undefined” between each letter of the tag.

    For example, if the name of the tag is “yoga”, I get “yundefinedoundefinedgundefineda”.

    What is going on and how do I fix it?

    I’m having the SAME issue, and I’ve tried totally reinstalling WP, but that didn’t work. I’ve also tried everything else I can think of, but nothing fixes this. So annoying!

    Not sure how “wiping out wp-admin” would work?

    Nevermind, 4.3 fixed this for me ??

    I can re-confirm that it is an issue with WordPress core files. I went to update my site but it was already up to date (4.3.1), so I clicked the “Re-install Now” button and it fixed the issue!

    I’m just a plain old blogger using the free wordpress blog thing and I’m having this error. I do not have my own site. I do not have wordpress downloaded anywhere. I’m just a total noob who’s having this error. Please help.
