• Firstly, great plugin, brilliant Idea and well executed. However, one of the bits I really can’t see any help for is the custom post types.

I have around 2000 posts, all relating to the sport of F1. The majority are for example containing the word Ferrari. There is also a team page dedicated to Ferrari. With out-the-box wordpress it unhelpfully places them at the bottom of the search as they’re the oldest post.

However, with your plugin It should put the Ferrari CPT first as the search term is exactly that.

So, How do I enable custom post types to appear in the search?

    Hi riseoflex88,

Public CPTs should already be included in the search results by default. If I understand you correctly, what you’re saying is that you have a post type named “Ferrari” and it’s not showing in the results? The CPT name itself isn’t used for finding matches, just the titles.

Sorry, no the CPT is ‘Teams’, ‘Ferrari’ is a post in the ‘Teams’ CPT.

When searching for the post ‘Ferrari’ it’s not showing results from the ‘teams’ post type.

I’ll admit I had a feeling it was working when I first installed the plugin. I’ll start debugging my code and see if something’s interfering. If I find anything useful I’ll update this post.
