Adding posts to new category

  • OK, I have no idea what I’m doing. My friend/server does everything for me and if I want to change something I can normally look at what he did and copy it or change it to get my desired effect.

    Basically I want my sidebar to read:

    Pages:
    –
    –
    –

    Categories:
    –
    –
    –

    Writer Archives:
    –
    –
    –

    Archives:
    –
    –
    –

    Users
    –

    I figured out how to copy the code and make the text on my sidebar to read “Writers Archives”

    but now I want to move the “categories” I created for it, that are stuck in the “category” section.

    Is that possible, is it possible to explain to someone who has no idea what 90% of the people on here are talking about?

    Does it make sense what I’m saying?
