• Hi Vladimir,

My multisite network has three user levels (Admin, Editor, Author). They all need to edit pages.

Adding ‘edit pages’ and ‘edit published pages’ capability to the Author role using URE doesn’t work—newly created sites/authors still don’t see any edit option in the dashboard.

If a new user role is created using URE with the same privileges, the user can’t login.
‘You do not have sufficient permissions to access this admin page.’

Need to solve this before I can launch! Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Tom

    Hi Tom,

newly created sites/authors still don’t see any edit option in the dashboard.

Any new created site has its own set of default roles/capabilities which does not contain the changes you may made earlier to the main site roles.

If a new user role is created using URE with the same privileges, the user can’t login.
‘You do not have sufficient permissions to access this admin page.’

Did you include a ‘read’ capability to that role?
Show a screenshot of a new created role to check.
