Adding Raw HTML/JAVA to Visual Composer Grid

I am trying to create one of many items in a Visual Composer grid, but there is no option to add Raw HTML, as is what I usually do outside of a grid. There are two reasons I want this option: 1) to add javascript (for a mouseover event in this case), 2) to add custom HTML that doesn’t otherwise fit into the typical VC scheme. In case #1 above I want a row of 3 images, each of which will change to a similar version on mouseover, and each with a link. In Case #2 I have two photos that use CSS classes of my theme to achieve a specific mouseover effect.

I have succeeded in creating both instances outside of a grid, but the problem here is that they do not resize when the window is shrunk, as is typical of the other elements on our site. If I can add these elements inside a VC grid I believe they will shrink appropriately.

Any way to add Raw HTML/JAVA inside a Visual Composer Grid? Other solutions anyone can think of?
