• I’m currently using the Sight theme by WPShower (https://wpshower.com/themes/sight/)
    on my site https://www.hellominimal.com

When you click on a ‘topic’ i.e. ‘HelloHome’ on my site the ‘page’ displays the entire post for each entry. Does anyone know how I am able to not show the entire entry within a page by adding a ‘Read More’ link? (Basically I want the individual posts to show like the homepage – with a featured image and some text).

Any help or direction is greatly appreciated!
    Thank you in advance!

  • When you are viewing a single post, this theme uses the file single.php. The ‘Read More’ link will point to that same file, so it does not make sense to display that link in single.php.

In order to do what you want, you would need to rewrite single.php and create new code to define a new ‘Read More’ action.

Okay, thank you for that information.
