Adding regions

    Hi yandoos,

    Right now, BD allows you to import listings automatically. But we don’t have support for doing the same with regions. We do have a place under Directory Admin->Manage Regions where you can click the tab “Add Multiple Regions” and add a bunch of regions (copy/paste) under a parent region at a time, which does speed things up a bit.

    Thank you for letting me know.

    Does the regions support towns as well? e.g. country > county > town????

    I’ve tried adding one and in the listing form there is no select generated to pick the town.

    Hi yandoos,

    If you want that kind of hierarchy, you’ll need to configure the regions to allow for that. You can make it whatever you want, but you’ll have to set up the regions under Directory Admin->Manage Regions to match that hierarchy first. After that, you should make sure you have 3 regions fields under Manage Form Fields that are named as you note above. But it all starts with the hierarchy.
