• Better Search is fantastic! And there’s so many great options for modifying in this support forum.

But one thing I haven’t seen addressed is adding your site’s regular sidebar to the search results page. How would i go about doing that?

The best way to do this is to enable Seamless mode on in the settings and then it will completely use the same template

I’m having the same problem: If I enable Seamless mode, then my results page does a few things that I don’t want. 1. It has space for my sidebar, but won’t display it, 2. It won’t display the search button at the top/center on the results page, 3. It won’t display the heat map. However, I’m fine using it in non-seamless mode, and doing away with the sidebar, but how can I style the search button at the top then? I cannot find it anywhere, and it’s not using my theme styles – it’s displaying an old gray button etc. I’d rather get it to work in Seamless mode, but if that is checked, my search results also will display the entire blog post, instead of just the post titles and the excerpt.

You can style .bsearchform which is the class wrapper for this
