Adding same product more than once

What’s the correct procedure to make multiply purchases of the same product?
I’m using your plugin for a print shop so each time someone adds ie. 500 flyers it’s separate item with artwork attached. I cannot add another 500 flyers, the plugin won’t let me, even of I leave the product page and come back to it later.
