Adding Scotland to Map

  • Hi All,

    I’m using the World Map low and loving this plugin.

    I’ve noticed that although the map continues most of the worlds territories and countries it doesn’t include Scotland and Wales in the UK map.

    Is there a way to add this or how I can get the source file and try and modify?

    Hi Chris! Thank you for the positive words!

    Scotland and Wales will highlight together with England and Northern Ireland with the GB code, which is represented as one country in this representation following UN divisions.

    In the free version there’s no way to modify this behaviour unfortunately.

    In the Pro version you can use custom geoJSON files for the maps or you can use the ‘overlay’ technique to add the map of UK divided by counties on top of the world map, similar to what I did here: https://interactivegeomaps.com/feature/overlay-maps/
