Working with a custom theme we’ve built to try to match a client’s specs for a small business website: we built the body of it using an app and have been hand-coding ever since (couldn’t find a theme to build off of).

Have the primary nav bar below header: we need to add a new menu above header for language selection.

Client mock-up of the menu and where I’m at are in a screenshot here.

    Work in progress is here.

(Links in secondary/top nav just go to static pages w/ instructions in selected language).

Have created a custom menu w/ relevant pages for the task.

Can’t seem to build the right code, in the right spots, to bring the top nav/menu to life.

Can be as simple as html or entering into css/pho at this point: I don’t mind having to edit it by hand moving forward.

With this and a few css tweaks, we’re pretty close to complete (need to account for the radius atop the header, add a thin border, adjust a few colours).

    Any insight?

    Should we change direction?

    Many thanks!

Did you ever solve this? I am looking for the same thing. Pity no one answered you.

No, we ended up just bringing-in a developer who specialized in WP.
