Adding self hosted website

  • I just switched domains, migrated everything successfully, but cannot add the new website to the mobile app.

    Error I get is this:

    “Enter the address of the WordPress site you’d like to connect.

    Help

    homeofkitchens.net

    Couldn’t connect to the WordPress site.

    There is no valid WordPress site at this address. Check the site address”

    I am 100% sure the wordpress is there. Appreciate all and any help!

    The WordPress app requires a service called XML-RPC on your server. XML-RPC does not seem to be functioning on your site right now. This is commonly caused when a web hosting provider blocks XML-RPC.

    I would recommend reaching out to your hosting provider to find out if they allow XML-RPC on your site.

    It can also happen if there is a plugin/theme that conflicts with it. To check whether a plugin is causing the conflict with the app, try deactivating all the plugins on your site to see whether that fixes the issue. You can also reference the list of known plugin conflicts to see if you’re using one of those.

    However, there may be other plugins that cause problems with XML-RPC as well.
