Adding services significantly slows down site

I’ve been using addtoany on my blog for a while. I decided to add Google +1, Facebook Like, and the Tweet buttons (basically the first 3 services you can select).

Adding these services seemed to significantly slow down my site with lots of repetitive calls to google and facebook. Page loading time went from 1.3 seconds to 7.2 seconds.

Am I doing something wrong here or is this normal? Thanks.
