• Hello

I am really struggling to follow the advice provided at https://www.designwall.com/guide/dw-question-answer-plugin/shortcodes/ and would appreciate more clarity. In particular, the advice,

“To use the shortcode, just add the shortcode in the Text or Visual views of the Post or Page content editor. That’s all! You’ve created your shortcode as you want.”

leaves me baffled as to what exactly I am to copy-paste into the “Post or Page content editor” and what post or page is being referred to here. (For example, whenever I copy-paste text into the text or visual view content editors of my ‘Ask Questions’ or ‘Questions List’ pages, this text just appears upfront of these pages for my users to see.) Presumably, the advice originally referred to actual shortcodes. Can somebody please help?

    Many thanks!

    Hi,
    – If you want to show the question list, you can use the following shortcode: [dwqa-list-questions]

    – If you want to show the submit question form, you can use the following shortcode: [dwqa-submit-question-form]

    Regards,
    DesignWall team.

    Dear DesignWall team

Thank you for your reply. I had already covered these two shortcodes and implemented them through reading the content under the two subheaders ‘Set up Questions List page’ and ‘Set up Ask Question Page’ in the list of headers at https://www.designwall.com/guide/dw-question-answer-plugin/ . Given that a separate topic is listed as ‘Shortcodes’ in the *same* list and that under this topic the content I have quoted in my previous post is provided, one would have thought that it is not just the shortcodes ‘[dwqa-list-questions]’ and ‘[dwqa-submit-question-form]’ that are being referred to (if at all). This is why I raised the query.
