• Hello–
    Great plugin!
As I understand it, if I select an Event Category all the events tagged with this category should display the custom category i choose. This does not seem to happen.

I can successfully apply the custom sidebar to specific Events, but that is very time-consuming, since I have many recurring events and each one shows up in the metabox as a separate checkbox item

  • I had the same problem, but then realised that my categories weren’t using the default sidebar but were instead using a different sidebar. My rule was “replace default sidebar with sidebar-A for all categories”. Which wasn’t working because the default sidebar wasn’t actually on the category pages. As soon as I changed the category pages to use the default sidebar, it worked. Perhaps that is the same problem on your site?

    Hi JimGasperini,
In your example, if you select an Event Category it replaces the sidebar for the event category archive page; it does not replace the sidebars for all events that are in that event category. Hope that helps. Cheers
