Adding Slideshow to Code Box on page composer template

  • Hello,
    I am trying to add a slideshow to my home page (static) and when creating the slide show its telling me to use one of the following:

    <?php do_action(‘slideshow_deploy’, ‘217’); ?>
    or
    [slideshow_deploy id=’217′]

    I am doing this though the Page Composer Template – so when I Add Section > Code Box > and write either code in the Source Code box, it doesn’t work.

    With [slideshow_deploy id=’217′] , it appears on the website as text.

    With <?php do_action(‘slideshow_deploy’, ‘217’); ? , nothing shows up at all.

    When I add the code on the default template and just type the code in the text box, it works.

    Can you please help me out since Im not sure of what I’m doing wrong! Is it possible to add the slideshow on the page composer template?
