Adding Specific Pages/Fields to all groups

I want additional info about all of my groups, but I don’t want them to have to create the pages and import the fields themselves. In fact, I don’t want group admins to see this functionality at all.
Can a website admin create specific fields, and have them as optional profile fields that will display if the user fills them out? (The same way extended profiles work?)
