Adding static text to a page.

Sorry in advance if someone asked it before. I went through all the posts that contain the words of my topic but I couldn’t find a suitable answer. I am totally new to this and a little bit lost.

I created a page a while ago on my blog called recipes. I added some static text to it with links to other directories on my blog and chose the right parent. It worked out and is up and running.

Now – 3 months later – I tried to do the very same with a new page(About). I added it, gave it some content(contact me blalba), selected the parent(../contact) but the text won’t show up. I have been trying to fix it myself. Searched the web, youtube and forums. I have no idea where it went wrong. I can’t explain it any better than I did and I am so frustrated about this.

Any help would be very appreciated.
