    Hi Folks,

Is it possible to add a block of text which always appears at the top of the posts page?

I have a page called “News” which you can see at this url: https://really-valid-info.com/blog/news/ and I would like to include an introduction at the top of the page before the posts.

I have tried adding text to the “News” page in admin but this doesn’t show up anywhere.

    Hope someone can advise.

    Many thanks,

    Myles

All taken care of now. I’ve added my “static” text and made it a sticky!

Can you explain how you did this?

If you go to the settings (wp-admin/options-reading.php) change “Front Page” to the page you want as your home page. Change “Posts Page” to the page where you want your posts listed. It will use the main template (index.php). You can modify parts of the main template to achieve the goal of “

to add a block of text which always appears at the top of the posts page

    Cheers,
