• Hello friends!

Let me start by saying that I am a web/coding ignoramus.

I paid this guy $50 to turn my photoshop file into a wordpress theme and set it up for me. I think I got my money’s worth but I do have a couple little unresolved issues I need help with! I hope they are really simple problems.

On the homepage, the text there is a blog post, but I don’t plan on changing it, so I was thinking that maybe it can just function like an intro – like an “about us” page. I don’t know how to do that.

On my links – for instance, the bad eggs link, when you click on it, it goes to the page, and it says “NYC” and “Hoboken”. Those are supposed to be links that go to a list of restaurants in that area, and then you click on the restaurant to read the review. I can’t figure out how to add those additional pages!

    Here is my website: https://www.roostercouncil.com/wordpress

I hope somebody can help me! I will really, really appreciate it!
Thanks so much for your time!

  • You really should read through some of the available WordPress documentation. In the meantime you can do all the edits you are speaking of from within the administrative section of your blog. Click Write to write a new page, click manage to manage the pages you already have (Which say NYC and Hoboken). Click Settings then Reading to change your front page to a page instead of the post. Just play around the dashboard/admin section. Everything is in there.
