Adding Subscibe button to WP Registration Page

Hello Guys/Gals,
Trying to figure out a way to make a subscribe checkbox during WP user registration. I have been going over the support board for this, and there appears to have been a way a few years ago, but i can’t figure out. Any help would be great.
