Adding Tags input to the front end event submission page

Hi there,
when I add an event via wordpress admin page, I am using the tags input to associate an event/workshop with an artist. So f.e. when I add a workshop, the tag would be ‘Urban Sketchers’. Now I can sort by artists or artists groups and am able to list all events of an artist. Please see for yourself: https://www.artistworkshop.de
Now at the front end event submission page, there is no option to add a tag, or in my case an artist. Now, if a registered user submits an event, it would not be associated with any artist. I would have to manually add that tag via wordpress admin page myself.
Is there a way to add the tag option to the front end event submission page, rename the word ‘tag’ to ‘artist/artist group’ and put some important explanation below that option in the front end submission page?
