adding test to the login lables

Hi Guys, Im using your “SimpleModal Login” plugin for a pop up login form, I just wanted to know how to change the lables on the login form. on my main login page the user can login with both username and email address, the lable tells them “username or email address”. But on the login form on the pop up it only shows username, even when the user can use email address to login with the pop up form.
