Hello, total newb here. We just switched our site to WordPress and things are going fine, but I am having one issue I just can’t seem to quite figure out. We have a primary menu. It’s a hamburger menu, which most of our site visitors recognize as such; however, we’ve had requests from some of our less experienced visitors to add the word ‘MENU’ next to, below, or above the actual horizontal lines. I have used all of the tools in my very small toolbox, but just can’t figure out how to do this. Can someone please help? Thank you!

  • This is a better question that would be best answered by your theme developer because some themes have a default option which uses the word menu instead of the hamburger menu.

Thanks so much, Davood! Forgive my ignorance, but out theme is Astra. I think that’s what you’re referring to, right?

Yes, my apologies for not looking closer at your website yesterday. I would have known it was Astra by looking at it since I’ve worked with Astra a few times. I have tagged Astra in this thread for you. In the future you can get support for Astra theme by going here https://www.ads-software.com/support/theme/astra/

I looked at your website just now and it looks great! I would suggest making sure you have an SSL certificate that is correctly configured. You’ll need to contact your hosting provider for help with that.

Goodness, no apology needed at all! I appreciate your time, the help, and the link to Astra support!
Our old website was a constant struggle and looked dated, and this one is so much more beautiful! The gentleman who built it for us is quite talented and knowledgeable, and we are so thankful!

Sure thing happy to help any time I’m able. Feel free to post questions here any time and myself or another member of this community will be happy to help as best we can.
