Adding tickets to elementor does not work/customising event
-
I would like to greatly customise an event. When creating an event, I am quite constrained by the default styling of the plugin. I considered moving away from creating an event, customising with Elementor and adding a ticket block to my page. That way, tickets can be sold but I can customise the entire page myself. However, when trying to add the event tickets widgets, I have to fill in the post ID and ticket ID. What do I have to fill in here? I can only get the ticket to work whenever I have first added the event tickets block in the traditional WordPress editor (so not Elementor). But when I then move to Elementor and add the tickets widget, the ticket appears twice. In other words, the ticket appears in the Elementor editor only after first adding it to the WordPress editor, but on the page it then shows twice. When I haven’t added it to the WordPress editor first, I cannot see the ticket (or have to fill in a ticket ID, which I have tried but it won’t work, which leads me to think I am looking at the wrong ID).
I would like to have some recommendations on how to customise the event. For example:
- Can I best use Elementor, and if so, how do I get that to work with the tickets widgets? For example by buying a pro plugin which supports Event Tickets in Elementor. Or;
- Is there a way to customise via the Events tab of the plugin so I avoid Elementor. Or;
- For example enter custom CSS via the Single events templates. In that case; where do I specify IDs and divs so I can actually style. Or;
- Any other suggestion.
