Adding Tracks in a Theme Template File and/or Shortcode

I’m having difficulty figuring out how to render playable tracks on a post/page when it is coming directly from a theme template file.

If that is not possible, can someone expose the raw shortcode for rendering a track within a post (from within the WordPress editor). My installation didn’t seem to add the blank clickable square that injects the shortcode into the editor area, so I have no idea what the code is to render a track. The documentation should include this shortcode so I don’t have to rely on the editor’s interface.
