Adding Users to Marketing Lists Based on Preferences

    I’m using the Gravity Forms add-on to create a contact in Dynamics when a user registers, I can map all the fields from my form to fields in Dynamics just fine, one question I had though, is it possible to add the user to Marketing Lists in Dynamics?

    The form I’m using has checkboxes for the user to select their marketing preferences and I was wondering if there’s a way for me add the user to the relevant marketing list based on their preferences.

    You’d need to write your own code to associate user with a marketing list. I would suggest that instead you fire up Power Automate flow on contact create and deal with the subscriptions there.

    You’d need to differentiate the form submissions from “normal” contact create in Dynamics 365 but that can be easily done by adding a hidden field that is not present in Dynamics 365 form and filter your Power Automate flow on that.
