Adding Widgets into theme

  • Hi,

    I am trying to create a website using the theme sydney. The theme has a lot of widgets i could use. But the problem is i dont know how to add them into the theme home page. I tried to do it through the Appearance–widgets, and it says that to get it displayed i will have to add some services from the admin area. I dont know what this means. will be very grateful if anybody can help.

    (I have no knowledge of creating websites :P)
