Adding widgets to sidebar problem…

Your theme may not support widgets. Change themes to the WordPress Default theme and see if Widgets work?

If so, then may need to find a theme that does support widgets.

Try looking in sidebar.php for something like:

<?php if ( !function_exists('dynamic_sidebar') || !dynamic_sidebar() ) : ?>

If you can’t find any reference to function_exists('dynamic_sidebar'), it would suggest that your current theme’s sidebar isn’t widget ready.

I don’t have a sidebar.php, as you can see from the first posting…

Can I make it widget ready somehow by adding code somewhere or creating a sidebar.php?
